Every child has rights. But millions of children still can’t enjoy them.
Children’s rights are protected by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the world’s most widely accepted human rights treaty. These rights include access to education, healthcare, protection from violence and exploitation, a safe environment, and the opportunity to be heard when decisions affect their lives. Yet for too many children, these rights exist only on paper.
That’s why KidsRights works alongside young people who are challenging inequality, demanding change and creating solutions in their own communities.
Our research highlights where children’s rights are under pressure. Our advocacy brings those issues to the world’s attention. Our programmes give young people the tools to become part of the solution. Because protecting children’s rights isn’t only about responding to today’s challenges. It’s about making sure every child has the opportunity to shape tomorrow.
